It’s a freezing morning in Beijing (somewhere around -12°c) so it was a warm surprise to log onto Vimeo, via VPN of course, and find us listed on the front page. Especially since Vimeo is blocked in China. Thanks to everyone who checked us out, reposted us and shared the love. It’s been an awesome end to our first year of business and we can’t wait to see what 2011 brings.
“ I was just sent this. WAY BEYOND AWESOME. Best Unauthorised Xmas Adaptation of one of my things EVER.”
What a great Christmas present for us. Thanks Neil!!!
Here’s a sneak peek at the elements we’re using to make our Santa Claus model. Our video Christmas card this year will involve a combination of model and set building, green screen filming, and animated character elements. Santa is made from plasticine, cotton wool, lights, real boots, real pleather gloves and 100% badass. Image is embiggenable
Some preliminary in-house projection tests. We intend to take a Beijing building by storm, but thought starting with a filing cabinet was a decent start. A journey of 1,000 miles and all that…
We’ve just completed production of part 2 of the BMW Joy campaign which is now live. Congratulations to Li Zong Chen (李宗辰) who wrote his ending after watching part 1. Click the picture to watch the full story on the BMW Joy web site.
The launch of the BMW M3 25th anniversary Tiger Edition took place on August 31st so we can now reveal what we’ve been working on all this time. You can check out the host of videos on the launch site www.beastinside.cc. We’ve been working tirelessly with our friends Interone to launch teasers, trailers, bumpers, banners and virals all to promote the 30 (THIRTY!) Tiger edition cars available for sale in China.
We have just emerged from the dark room where we were developing our website and are pleased to announce that the new site is now live. We hope to expand it as we continue to grow and prosper! Take a look!
We’ve just wrapped up the principal filming for a new BMW short film and it is looking pretty damn sweet (if we do say so ourselves). Unfortunately we’ve been hit with a gag order so can’t say too much about it or show you exactly what it involves. Naturally this is a wee bit frustrating so in the mean time you can take a look at us making it. Phase 1 launches on August 16th so we’ll be updating here as we go. We had a blast filming this, hoping you’ll have a blast watching the final product!
